Born in 1955, in Ankara’s Beypazarı, Mansur Yavaş is a lawyer and politician. He practiced law up until his being elected as the Mayor of Beypazarı in 1999, Yavaş has accomplished outstanding projects during his service at Beypazarı Municipality till 2019, when he was elected as the Mayor of Ankara. Creating ‘Transparent Municipality Model’, he was awarded the ‘2020 Transparency Award’ and the ‘World Mayor 2021 Award’.
