First female mayor of Rennes since 2014, Nathalie Appéré is also the President of Rennes Metropole since 2020. She has been a pioneer on social housing, investing major amounts in urban renewal programs and experimenting the “sole rent” in social housing. Fostering a social and ecological transition and improving the quality of life in Rennes are her priorities for this term.
