Fabiana Goyeneche holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad de la República, a postgraduate degree in Economic Criminal Law from the University of Montevideo and a Diploma in Equality and Non-Discrimination from the University of Buenos Aires. She was Director of the Department of Social Development of the Municipality of Montevideo in the period 2015-2020. M. Goyeneche has a background in public policies on sexual diversity, gender and ethno-racial perspective.
