Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan, is C40 Cities Vice Chair for Europe and founding Leadership Board member of the Mayors’ Migration Council. He has led complex organisations in the private and public sector. His love for Milan and his willingness to make it a more sustainable, international and fairer city led him to enter politics. First elected Mayor in June 2016, he was re-elected in 2021.
